Helloooooo, my friend!!!
Did you know that I am loyal to two NFL teams? Yes, two! But Maggie, what if both teams play each other? Well, guess what, they did back in November and it was fun because regardless of whichever team won I was happy!! A win, win!! But, which teams are those two I speak of….well, the Bears and the Bengals of course!! As a native Chicago girlie turned Cincy girlie, I have the exciting opportunity to love two NFL teams….okay, why are we talking about football…because the Bears are in the playoffs and it’s been a hot second since the last time this has happened AND they play tonight! So let’s go, Bears!!

On a writing note, just for accountabilities sake, I have been successful in my quest to write a minimum of 200 words per day every day during the week! AND everyday (despite one day which was exceptionally busy), I have written OVER 200 words—which was sort of the goal…set a low, achievable goal with the thought that it will be easy to break and then have the motivation to keep going 😊 Oftentimes I overcommit with goals and then don’t hit them and lose motivation, so it’s easier for me to set low goals I know I will break and then feel good and motivated to keep on going 💪 So let’s keep it goin!!!! WAHHOO!

My friend, I have the most exciting news of ALL time!!! Remember those little audiobook cassettes I told you about last email??? WELL…they have officially arrived and are SOOOOO much cooler in real life 😱 I cannot get over it!!! I even put one on my special Sacred shelf (which if I wasn’t writing this newsletter to you in a perfectly cute little coffee shop on this crispy cold Sunday afternoon, I would have snapped a pic of said Sacred shelf (next letter I will—it’s a cool collection of all things Sacred 😉 ) BUT I did bring one of the cassettes with me to snap a pic of for you!
ISN’T IT SO COOL???? I am simply obsessed with how they turned out and am super happy with the quality 😊 If you already snagged one, I’ll be shipping it out to you THIS WEEK (in addition to getting the cassette, which is a totally functional USB, you will also get a USB-C adapter, and a digital copy of the audiobook for even easier accessibility to your new audio adventure)!!!!
📚 🍹Tropetails: Instant Cheers update!! I just got news from my manufacturer that the powder filling has officially BEGUN!! Which means that they will be shipping out to me by end of January—HOW COOL!! We are in the final stretch of production after working on this project since Jan 2025 (exactly a year)! It is so cool to see this come full circle and I am so grateful to have you here with me on this awesome journey!! 🍹 📚

My human oftentimes likes to stare into these things she refers to as “books”. I don’t really understand why she likes to stare into them…she just sits there…for hours…starring…why? Why not pet me? It is way more fun to give me little pets under my chin than stare at this so called “book”. So, in an effort to help my human reorganize her priorities, I leapt up onto her lap to help her realize that it is way more fun to pet me than stare at the “book”. My mission was a success because I got the pets I wanted and my human could no longer stare at the “book”.
Sarge says “focus on me, human!!”
