HELLO MY FRIEND!!

Tis the season of Hallmark, am I right? Or is that a just me thing? Idk about you but all I have been doing in the evening since Thanksgiving passed us by is watch corny Hallmark movies. There’s something about them that just gives me so much joy. They are SOO stupid that they are almost good, and I think that’s what keeps me coming back. Maybe also in part due to that fact that you don’t realllllyyyyy have to pay attention all that much while watching them, so I will also be reading or paying a game or something else while they are running on the background. It’s nice and cozy and I love it. Tis the season!!! 🎄 🎁

On another “tis the season” note, did you get any good Black Friday deals? Believe it or not, the mall and Maggie do not vibe all that much anymore. I’m more of a go in and get the exact thing I need and leave kind of person. So I truly only went to one single store to get a single pair of jeans I’d been eyeballing and that was about the extend of my BF adventures. Did you find anything fun? Feel free to indulge me in your BF treasures, I’d love to celebrate your fun finds with you!

I also put up my holiday decorations and my favorite guy who rests on top of my microwave and gives me a good laugh every time I look up at him….

In other fun news, I started work in the past few weeks on my first ever children’s book! I do a lot of in person events and typically always have at least a few families come by each time asking for children’s books….so, being a woman of the people…I have listened to their wishes!

This new children’s book also takes place in the world of Sacred and will be following the adventures of a mail-carrying gully (cat-bird hybrid). It’s gonna be heckin cute and I can’t wait to share it! Though, in the meantime, here is a word search that will be included in the back of the book in addition to several other fun activities:

I also started another new project in the world of Sacred…a cozy, low-stakes fantasy following two gully post (the post office of my world) interns who are each striving to replace their superior post master in his role. When a mysterious letter with no sender and final destination marked, these two interns take it upon themselves to figure out who it came from and who it was intended for.

One line I wrote the other day that I particularly love is: ““The postman’s honor is to make sure that every letter is delivered safely to its senders desired destination. Are you really going to break that honor in your first week?”” Said by one of the main characters who I have been tentatively calling “Lil” (who I also have no idea what she looks like haha — it’s a fun process figuring out who characters are as you write).

It’s been SOO much fun writing and I cannot wait to finish this one for a summer 2026 launch!!

I received an update from my manufacturer that the bag proofs for Instant Cheers (pictured above) have shipped and are on their way to my apartment!!! From idea to reality…I began working on this crazy project back in January, and in just over a month I will be holding for the first time and shipping out the first 1500 units of my Tropetails: Instant Cheers!! It’s so fun to see this all come together and even MORE fun to see how excited people are to sip on these tasty treats!!
