HELLO MY FRIEND!! I pen this newsletter to you from the beautiful Las Vegas, NV! That’s right, it’s that time of year—I am attending the worl'd’s largest conference for independent authors (Author Nation) and I cannot WAIT for all my favorite people to pour into the conference halls this coming week!
I did something SO fun the other night! For the first time ever, I was invited to be the guest of honor on a virtual book club! All members read Sacred Book 1 and we got to yap about all things Sacred—HOW FUN!! I don’t think I’ve ever been in a room with so many other people who have read my book..it was such a special and heartwarming experience and of course everyone’s favorite character was overwhelmingly Barnaby 🐸 (shocker 😉). There may have been a few crushes on Aero as well hehe 🙈 which I don’t blame anyone for that! He’s a heartthrob!!! ❤️ ⚔️

So, I used to have what I called “growing pains” as a kid (where my bones would ache and I’d put hot rags over them to ease the discomfort)…I’m having a “growing pain” moment right as we speak, except THIS growing pain is a super fun and exciting one (no hot rags needed!). As of today, I am no longer Margaret Beeler DBA (doing business as) Half Sun Press, I have officially leveled up to Half Sun Collective LLC!!! It’s a big step for me and my business as I expand my offerings past books and into the consumables space. I cannot wait to see where this “collective” grows in the next year and I am so glad to have you here to explore this new venture with me 😊

My human did me dirty! She scooped me up (now, mind you, I was having a grand time sunbathing in the very nice and warm sun), shoved me into a bag, and threw me in the car for a 5+ hour adventure. When she unzipped the bag and I jumped out, I was in an entirely new location!!! She calls the other human who watches me her best friend, and best she is because she gives me lots of love while my human is off adventuring. PS: she says it is apparently something called “Halloween” and shoved this hat on me...do you like it??
